Rancho Santa Fe Foundation Names Kevin Crawford Board Chairman

The Rancho Santa Fe Foundation’s board of directors has elected Kevin Crawford as new board chairman.


According to a press release, Crawford, an executive coach, will serve for two years effective March 2020. He succeeds Bill Davidson, chief operating officer for Amoinix, who will continue to serve on the board executive committee and board of directors.


From 2016 to 2018, Crawford worked as Carlsbad City Manager and the fire chief from 2002 to 2013. He holds a Juris Doctor degree from Western Sierra Law School, an Associate of Arts degree in liberal arts from Santa Ana College and also attended San Diego State University, completing the Fire Protection Administration program there. Additionally, he authored the book: Chief Reflects on Leadership.
